Gotta love the random guy knocking loudly on the window at 1 am. Speaking with an accent I can't understand, saying he's looking for the owner of the place. Can't give me a name. Then he asks me for a cigarette. No I didn't open the door. We talked through the window and that was enough. Guess I'll be sleeping in minor terror tonight.

 

Moments like that are why I sleep with a machete beside my bed

The work place is great, it's the customers that are horrible. Job would be so much better without the customers.

 

So apparently a group of architects are trying to crowdfund a life-sized replica of Minas Tirith from LOTR. The estimated price of building such a city is about 1.85 billion euros. so far they've got 61,000 after 14 days, and have another 47 until the campaign closes and gives everyone their money back.

 

Will people get to see it at least?

 

How was Wendy's a more fulfilling job than this.... And why was I so much better at that?

 

More than that, they're planning on allowing people to actually live there in certain areas, while keeping other areas open for things like tourist housing and attractions.

They're also planning on having a massive wall with up to a million spots for donors to have their name carved, and a hall filled with plaques for people who pay more than those who just paid for the wall, 100,000 spots.

If you pay 100,000 euros, you and your family get lady/lordship privileges. You have exclusive rights to be anywhere in the city, excluding private homes and businesses, your own horse drawn carriage, invitations to all annual events, a place on the city's executive committee, and first choice of house purchases.

Wish I had had the day off...gave myself a list of chores to do and wish I were doing them now.

 

Had that yesterday. Overslept today, so didn't get the motivation for that today either. Should do better tomorrow.

 

I worked at Wendy's for the last year, now I'm at a call centre and missing my old job.

 

Yeah call centres are not the best place to be in. Especially not for your mental health.
