What was your dream last sleep cycle?

Not necessarily sure what my dreams were about the past couple of nights. All I know is that I've seen people I know in these dreams which makes it more interesting.

 

Had the first memorable dream in a long time to not be about work... and I forgot it already...

What, work dreams, or dreams you forget immediately?

 

Both, though suffice to say I've only had one work-related dream.

 

I've found myself worrying about work in my free time, despite the fact that my current job is probably the most stress-free way I'll ever make money in my life.

 

Dreamed that I was doing something on the lakefront area of my town, and ended up at a Quaker camp. They had some sort of big naturally-occuring rock statue made out of that red rock common to the American southwest. Not sure why, but they had me go into a big run-down warehouse, at which point one of my coworkers came in wearing a mail bag, and telling me to get out, and that we're not supposed to go into buildings for guests. He rushed me out of the 2nd story back door just as the head Quaker came in the front to attack me. I saw a box on the ground right outside the door with a bunch of old money from various countries, and grabbed some as I passed, and also kept grabbing it off the ground as I ran.

 

I started to have dreams again, mostly short but very weird. Unfortunately I've been having several every night for the past couple of days so I don't remember the details but a lot of them involve me feeling a little distraught and oddly enough, lost.

Almost as if I don't belong where I am in the dream.

 

I had the craziest dreams last night.

So it started out as a new year's celebration at the house of the king and queen of the land of animal people where everything is literally made of happiness. Yes, I know, just go with it. So I guess I was one of their children. The king had given the duty of carving the stones with the year's digits on it to the youngest daughter of the house. As the crowd was gathering, we noticed the stones were out of order, so the wrong year was showing. Suddenly, in the middle of fixing it, a thief broke in and started running around the house. After a bit of a chase, the king used one of the rocks to smash the thief. But when he picked the rock back up, the thief's body had turned into that of the youngest daughter, who was nowhere to be found.

After this, there was chaos. So heavy was the grief and confusion, that everything anyone touched started turning into a green gooey mist and blowing away. Because everything was made of happiness, none of it was actually real, and without the happiness, things were ceasing to exist.

After a while, myself and someone I had been traveling with a while fled to a beach house, and noticed nothing we were touching would dissolve. We weren't able to work out whether it was because the owner was so happy, or if they had made everything out of real things. It could have been both.

Eventually I made my way back to the house from the start. I found a load of new animal people there. I guess they were the survivors of the chaos or something. My room ended up being a sweet attic loft on the back left corner of the house. I went around and introduced myself to all the other animals there. There were a lot, but the main one I remember was a white bunny girl who lived in a walled off landing on the stairway. She was nice. I forget what all happened in the middle here. I think there was an alien invasion and panty shopping...

Well after a particularly long sequence of events, I come home and have trouble finding my room. Once I do find it, I realize that a lot of my stuff is gone, and the bunny girl is in there. I ask what's happening, and she says I was gone so long, they figured I didn't need my room any more. She said I could have her old one, and I realized that she was probably having a hard time, because any time someone wanted to go upstairs, they had to go through her room. Then I noticed that she had installed those un-aligned sort of bunk beds, so I looked at her smugly and said something like "Oh, I wouldn't mind still spending my nights in here." and she seemed to take the hint and seemed to respond positively to it then I woke up. Dammit.


I also had another dream where it followed a day in the life of a cat girl and beaver(?)boy brother and sister. The sister was a pop star, and the brother was constantly being made fun of for his obsession with chewing his wooden legs because I guess all boys suddenly had no legs in my dream. Then I woke up.

 

Some dreams I have...it's like I go to some alternate reality of sorts...and most of the time the people want me dead

I have to try and re-train myself back into lucid dreaming, it was easy when I was younger but these last few years it's really difficult...nothing goes my way anymore in dream land...

One of them was of my ex but it was kinda weird...like we were just catching up and talking about how things were going really good for both of us. It was kinda neat.

The others were weird, one of which involved my whole family in a car that my older brother was drifting up a big mountain. Nobody was flipping out, not even my mom who would've IRL. Anyhow he gets too cocky and eventually drifts it into a guardrail which broke and sent the car spinning off the side of the mountain, falling hundreds of feet and landing on the roof of a house below. Everyone got out and was laughing about it saying we should do it again. Weird.

 

Two nights ago I dreamed I was on a space outpost near a burning Jupiter.

Last night I dreamed that my grandpa had killed my whole family. I even watched him put a bullet in everyone's heads, but in the end it turned out to all be a prank, and everyone was okay.

 

Dreaming about my ex again, nothing bad just weird stuff...

This time she was getting me to chase her around but every time I got close she would tease me with her ass, in the end I piled on top of her with her on her belly and kissed her neck. She shoved me off and pulled her pants down and then told me to put it in. I asked which hole, she just looked back with a mischievous grin and said "Whatever you want!".

I usually went for her ass when she asked that question IRL. When I was about to do the deed I woke up. Figures!

Buckle up. This shit is gonna get weird.
I was taking a nap and only just woke up.

I was sitting in a massive arena of some kind for a concert or something. Even though I didn't see them all, I knew nearly my entire family was sitting in the same row as me, but my 2nd youngest sister was the one on my immediate right, my left was occupied by a rather sketchy young dude. He had a short buzz cut kind of hairdo and looked to be maybe mid 20s and some flavor of Spanish. He was also being really handsy with me for whatever reason. I didn't know this guy, but he would keep touching me and stuff and I would tell him to stop rather loudly, but my sister and anyone in my row didn't seem to notice. Well the lights dimmed and suddenly he tries to push himself over me and I just raged out and socked him the face not once, but 3 times. Apparently that caught everyone's attention, including my dad's and my 2 uncles (it was on, I'm sure if my dream had been longer that guy would be dead lol). My dad plus uncles got everyone together so we could move seats away from that clown, but pops pulled me aside to the hallway presumably to ask me what happened

SUDDEN SCENE SHIFT- same night, different locaton

I'm not present, but my view is trained on 6 people in front of my house. 3 of them appear to mall level cops and the other 3 look like they fell out of a black ops mission. Now the mall cop's leader is swaggering around talking about how much trouble the strangers are in and how hes going to have to "take them in" or some nonsense and they're not the least bit impressed despite the "officer" waving around what appears to be a gun. He notices them looking at it and hes all like "Oh you lookin at this? don't ya'll worry, I probably won't be needing this kinda fire power". Whats sad is that it looks rather cheap, plastic almost, so one of the black ops wannabees goes "oh you mean something like this?" whips out a pretty badass handgun. The other 2 follow suit and suddenly the "officer"and his two buddies are sweatin and trying to call for back up. The offer tries to undo what I gather to be a taser from his belt, but one of the baddies just laughs and pulls out a supped up cattle prod and shocks the crap out of that guy. (even in my own dream im mega confused rn) it doesn't stop there. The third black ops guy pulls out a ragged pocket sized book opens it up and starts reading some weird chant. Two giant demon hands grab the other officers and throws them onto the ground before taking its fingernails and delicately splitting their necks open while these satanic looking miniature baboons burrow into the gaping wounds (WTFFFF). I could see their stomachs expanding and wriggly grossly from the little freaks tearing up their insides. The screams were pretty fucked up

SUDDEN SCENE SHIFT AGAIN- same moment, back at the stadium, different floor

My view is now down a hallway and from around the corner staggers a tired looking NIGEL FUCKING THORNBERRY. He appears to be looking for his wife and as he passes a wall of windows he sees her down in front of the building with a bunch of other people in swimwear because the parking lot appears to be flooded and everyone seems to think its a good idea to play in the water. Nigel seems so relieved to see her but then gasps when he sees her slip and lands into the muscled arms of some guy she knew from college that he had competed with over her. Nigel is all outraged, mustache bristling and hurries to find a stairway or something, then suddenly I wake up, dazed, confused, and just what?

 

I too have dreamed about Nigel Thornberry. Except in my dream he announced his retirement.

And yeah, that's some satanic shit right there. XD

 

Kinda had a disturbing one. There was a stranger in the house who was keeping me captive. I kept trying to lock myself in a room and holding the door back, but he always managed to break through it (which would be pretty close to impossible barehanded). After a while he would let walk around the house freely... in which I would, once again, hide and lock a door behind me.
I tried calling the cops but the stranger got to me in the middle of the call. The dream ended before anything came of that.

I was listening to "true" horror stories on youtube, so that may have been part of why I dreamt it.
