    does anyone happen to know how much an XL Flint weighs?
    Been looking up on BD's website but can't find the information.

    If you add the XL flint to your cart and go through the check out till you get to the shipping options if should show how much the package weighs along with the shipping options! I hope that'll help you out!

    Exactly, for some reason, I started to fear it might be over 5kg (above which the costs are double) but I think I overestimated the weight of this lil monster anyway...my next experiment should be to try and carry 5 liters of water with one arm and flint with the other and see the difference! :rolleyes:

    If no one here can help you, I would package it up like you are going to ship it and go to your post office and ask them for a quote!

    Yeah sure, thought about it but wouldn't it be easier if BD indicated the weight of its items though? Oh well...

    According to my kitchen scale, my XL Flint in soft firmness is 8.5 pounds.
